lyrics

The paranoiac, the Cathar paranoiac
She rides the witch’s broom
The Cathars flee north to the mountainside
Avoiding execution to come too soon
I can see the witch’s pages,
From which she derives a magic brew

The wet haystack rots with flies
Rotting in the wet humid sun
Miles away, the obelisk monolith shines forth,
Awaiting lightning
A sign from the gods’ throne

The arctic winds blow cold in the night
The evening brings the burnings at the stake, what a sight
For the Holy Grail they’ll fight
England, Languedoc, where will they die tonight?
The Catholic Church shows no mercy
The air is cold, but we hold on tight

The men run forth, hundreds of them
Awaiting an Astrological symbol, some kind of sign
As below, so above
Way up high, from another sphere
A crackle in the distance one could almost hear
